When the need arises for rebooting computer, there could be

several different reasons.  One reason might be to just restart the computer because of a system hang or freeze.  Hanging or freezing could be a driver conflict or a registry problem. You should check the suspected hardware manufactures website for updated drivers or engineering notes that might help with the problem. You should also run a good registry cleaning utility.  The registry is a very large database that gets easily corrupted and contains all operating system configurations and changes to accommodate all hardware and software.  Anytime or add or remove hardware or software you run the risk of corrupting the registry.

Reboot My Computer

This term is also used when the need arises to return the computer to factory default settings.  This can be accomplished using either a special key press during startup or an image CD that deletes and restores the operating system.  This will also remove any installed programs and delete all data and personal files.  This is usually not the desired option to take since to takes so long to get all your programs reinstalled and restoring all your data and files from backups.

Reboot Your Computer

This term is similar to the above term so the procedures would be the same.

Rebooting Computer

This can happen for several reasons.  One it could be a virus that is causing the reboot.  Also it could be an over heating CPU and motherboard that has thermal limit sensors that automatically shutdown the computer to prevent hardware damage from an overheating CPU.  Power supplies can also cause a computer to shutdown and reboot if they are failing or operating at their maximum output.

Rebooting A Computer

This term could mean the process used to restart a computer in Safe Mode.  Safe Mode will allow you to remove an incompatible hardware driver or video setting that is not compatible with the monitor and you have a back screen or information on the screen is not readable.  During startup you press the F8 key and a menu opens and you select Safe Mode.  Now you can go to the Device Manager and remove the problem driver or reset the video to a compatible monitor setting.

Reboot A Computer

This term could mean to restart the computer using a Live CD to get control of the hard drive in order to copy important data or files when the operating system fails and prevents you from accessing your data.  Live CDs are usually Linux distributions that can read and write files from NTFS file systems.  After you restart the computer using the Live CD you locate your data or files and simply copy them to an external device, such as, a flash drive or external hard drive.

Reboot Computer

The need to reboot computer occurs when either the computer fails to start-up properly or you need to reinstall or restore the operating system because of various issues.  You need to understand Windows is a large complex operating system that requires regular maintenance to keep functioning properly.  When your computer freezes or hangs the problem could be a registry issue or a software driver conflict.  Sometimes just rebooting the computer will allow the computer to run again.  However, the underlining problem still exists and will reoccur.  There are several good registry cleaners found on the commercial and free Open Source  markets.  You might download a free or trial version registry cleaner to see if the problem can be easily corrected with one of these utilities.  For the software driver issue you will need to visit the manufactures website and review the support documentation to find any available fixes or updated software drivers that can solve the conflicts.

Safe Mode

You can reboot computer to Safe Mode by pressing F8 during the start-up.  The Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that allows you to reset hardware drivers that might be causing a black or blue screen on your monitor.  In Safe Mode you can use the Device Manager to reinstall the correct video driver or other conflicting hardware driver. Then you can restart your computer normally with the video now working.

Original Factory Settings

You can reset your computer to its original factory settings by pressing F12 during start-up (if your computer has this feature) or inserting a restore CD during start-up.  This will take an image and re-image your entire hard drive.  This will replace all files including any saved files.  This is not the best option because you will have to reinstall all your programs and other important files to get your computer back to a functional working state.

Imaging

Another option is to restore your computer to a saved configuration that has all your important programs and files.  This is accomplished using imaging software, such as Ghost or Partimage, that saves your current configuration and then allows you to restore all your important files when needed.  I have several YouTube videos on Ghost and one on Partimage.  I also have a YouTube video on Reboot Computer that might also be of help.
